Johnny C. is a displaced right coaster… born and raised in NYC. He recently relocated to Sacramento for all the obvious reasons. He is our lead guitarist. A lifelong blues lover, Johnny first picked up the guitar when he saw Muddy Waters on the Ed Sullivan Show (what, Muddy Waters was on Ed Sullivan? How did I miss that?) Over the past 20+ years, he has been in and/or led just about every kind of R&B, blues, and rock band you can think of. He joined the Deviant Strays in October 2024.
